Annual Charges

The Annual Charges data asset contains information pertaining to charges that are assessed to recover costs incurred by the Commission in the performance of its regulatory responsibilities.

Company Registration

The Commission’s Company Registration Program contains a list of regulated or jurisdictional and non-regulated or non-jurisdictional entities that are required to make filings with the Commission. These filings may include tariff records and other financial and informational forms required by the Commission’s various regulatory programs. The Company Registration database contains the entity’s identification number and their essential information including the regulatory program they are subject to, the forms they may file with the Commission, and registered individuals that may make filings on behalf of the entity.

FERC Form 556: Certification of Qualifying Facility Status

The FERC Form 556 data asset contains information for certification of qualifying facility status under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 (PURPA).

FERC Information Collections Management

This data asset contains management information about FERC's approved and proposed information collections. It also includes the renewal and update activities for FERCs collections, as well as Paperwork Reduction Act and Regulatory Flexibility activities related to rulemakings activities.

Form No. 552 - Download Data

This form collects aggregated annual natural gas transactional information on sales and purchases at a fixed-price, physical basis price or index price for delivery in the next-day or next-month market from market participants that buy or sell more than 2.2 TBtus in a calendar year.  This form is considered to be a non-confidential public use form.

Market-Based Rate Database

The MBR data asset mirrors data submitted by sellers with MBR authorization or seeking MBR authorization to the MBR Relational Database through the MBR Portal (website).

NEPA Schedule for Pending Infrastructure Projects

NEPA Schedule for Pending Infrastructure Projects contains target and actual dates of final NEPA document completion for pending infrastructure projects.

Administrative Hydropower Actual

This table contains data related to the other federal agency (OFA) annual charges; including their project number, licensee name, project type, capacity, generation and the OFA annual charge.

FERC Company Identifier Listing

The Commission’s regulations require regulated or jurisdictional entities and some non-regulated or non-jurisdictional entities to obtain Company Identifier (CID) numbers in order to make required filings with the Commission including tariff filings and various required forms. Each regulatory program requires a unique CID number.

Affiliated Small Power Production QFs

Any affiliated small power production QFs located less than 10 miles from the electrical generating equipment of the facility that use the same energy resource and are held (with at least a 5 percent equity interest) by any of the entities identified in lines 5a or 5b or their affiliates.

Bottoming-Cycle Thermal Host

Identification and description of each thermal host and each bottoming-cycle cogeneration process engaged in by each host.

Direct Ownership

All direct owners of the facility holding at least 10 percent equity interest or, if none, the two direct owners with the largest equity interest in the facility.

FERC Form 556

The Form 556 is required to certify as a qualifying facility (QF) under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 (PURPA). An owner or operator of a generating facility with a maximum net power production capacity of greater than 1 MW (1000 kW) may obtain QF status by either submitting a self-certification or applying for and obtaining a Commission certification of QF status, and must do so by completing and electronically filing a Form 556 with the Commission. The Form 556 collects information regarding the facility’s power capacity, equipment, energy input and/or output, ownership, location, and affiliated QFs.

Topping-Cycle Thermal Host

Identification and description of each thermal host and the annual average rate of thermal output made available to each host for each use.

Upstream (Indirect) Ownership

All upstream (i.e., indirect) owners of the facility that both (1) hold at least 10 percent equity interest in the facility, and (2) are electric utilities or holding companies.

Basic information about a seller's long-term, firm agreements for the purchase or sale of energy or capacity.

Entities to Vertical Assets

Basic information about assets relevant to a seller's vertical market power analysis, including transmission, intrastate natural gas transportation, intrastate natural gas storage or distribution, and physical coal supply sources or transportation.

Gen Assets

Information on generator assets distinct from the EIA table, created in the MBR Portal (website).

Indicative Market Share Screens

Basic information pertaining to a seller's Market Share data.

Basic information pertaining to the seller's Pivotal Supplier data.

MBR Authorizations

Basic information about a seller's market-based rate authorization, including the docket number in which it was first granted market-based rate authority and the associated tariff effective date.

MBR Category Status

A seller's category status designation in each of the six market-based rate regions. Category 1 and Category 2 sellers are defined in 18 C.F.R. § 35.36.

MBR Mitigations

Basic information related to any mitigation on a seller's market-based rate authority, including the balancing authority area or market where its market-based rate authority is mitigated, a narrative description of the mitigation, and the effective date of the tariff in which the mitigation was implemented. Sellers whose market-based rate authority is not mitigated in any balancing authority area or market are not required to make a submission to this table.

MBR Operating Reserves

Basic information about sellers authorized to make third-party sales of operating reserves to a public utility that is purchasing ancillary services to satisfy its own open access transmission tariff requirements to offer ancillary services to its own customers. See Order No. 784.

MBR Self Limitations

Basic information related to any voluntary limitations on a seller's market-based rate authority. If a seller has limited its market-based rate authority, it should use this table to identify the balancing authority areas, markets, or regions in which it is authorized to transact at market-based rates. Sellers who have not limited their market-based rate authority in any way do not need to make a submission to this table.
